Kickstarter is home to a staff of uniquely brilliant and creative people who have an eclectic range of interests and personalities. This portfolio celebrates exactly that. When asked to revamp Kickstarter’s team page with a new approach, I crafted a colorful, playful art direction designed to reflect the best of who we are together by celebrating who we are as individuals. Each headshot session was completely private, set with a fun, uplifting ambiance. Participants were encouraged to choose their own backdrop and bring an object to be photographed with that held some significance to them. Kickstarter-branded props were also provided.
The high resolution portrait gallery on the left illuminates the personality of each staff member with care and detail, while the mock-up on the right shows how images lived together once they were live on the team page.
