Lauren Renner is an Art Director of Photo & Video with a unique background in 8x10” and 4x5” color view camera photography. Her technical experience as a fine artist enables her to translate her vision into striking still and video concepts, and execute them with heart, depth, polish, and vibrancy for major brands.
During her career, Lauren has presented her dynamic work as a TEDxAdventure speaker in Wroclaw, Poland, and pushed conceptual boundaries as a collaborating artist with the Marina Abramovic Institute. Her work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions all over the world, and she has been mentored by some of the top creative minds in her field including Patrick Demarchelier, Tina Barney, Mitch Epstein, and Elizabeth Heyert.
Lauren has worked with many well-known international brands and most recently served as Kickstarter’s Art Director of Photo & Video, where she shaped the brand’s visual identity, and built a photo and video capability for the organization from the ground up. During her tenure, the strength of her work was recognized with Honorable Mentions in Advertising by the 2019 International Photography Awards, and helped Kickstarter win the Design Visionary Award from Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum during the 2020 National Design Awards.
